I have found a campsite to start the adventure off, somewhere new so that ticks that off. It is north Cornwall in Padstow with access to a nice bay. Perfect for our paddleboarding adventure as well as the boogie board we bought but never used.
We stay there in north Cornwall until Tuesday, where finally head west to Land's end and stay in the pod there. Lucas usually takes the top bunk and I get the double. It is almost the most perfect tiny house, the only let down is the position of the sink behind the toilet, which is difficult to shave and when we wash our hands, water runs down the side of the toilet. The rest as I have already pointed out is perfect. My favourite section is the roof garden where you can clearly see the isles if Scilly and Land's end. Lucas and I last year watched the fireworks, you can see us standing on the photo above.
We left on time and in good time and the warning light for my tyres came on. Then I split my thumb nail getting out of the car. Thankfully the journey to Fleet services went well, we're here now getting breakfast. Lucas slept most of the way here to marker 1. The new AI cameras on the M25 & M3 have ensured 60.is my new 70.
