Summer 2026
The hot days
The weather 🌡️ is hot, our summer here in the UK is every bit affected by global warming.
I am just as guilty as anyone for not reducing my carbon footprint 👣.
Yesterday I went to my friend's birthday party in a park, in a place I have not only never been but,
would never mainly due to snobbery. I have no business being a snob, every time I try and practice it,
it always back fires and proves me wrong. The party was a prime example of that.
I had a great time and the people was very nice.
I was the only Brit in amongst a group of people who come from and originate from central Europe.
The games were engaging, table tennis, tug of war, hoopla, badminton and volleyball.
I tried the later. Volleyball is a game I have always enjoyed ever.since I was a teenager but, never been in a position to pursue.
I played for two hours and fell multiple times, kicked the ground and ended up on my back. All worth it but I am feeling it today, I am sore and tired.
I went for a ride with Lucas today and I noticed how tired I am, it was a lot.
I have spent the last section of the afternoon in shopping or at least spending my birthday vouchers,
so I thought I spend the rest of the afternoon walking but I am not feeling it. I am currently on the train home from Moorgate.
I left my bike at Nicole's and since Lucas' bike is there too, I no longer have one at my disposal.
That isn't too much of a problem, I could do with a rest.
Update on the bile situation, I ended up walking to Nicole's in the evening
to collect my bike and rode bacl home. This took my step count up 22,000 and
I rode a measely 10 miles. Still better than nothing.
